As an ecosystem and an anthropic environment, the sea, in its cultural, social and technological aspects, is one of the Empowerment Community Network Foundation’s areas of work.

From time immemorial, the sea has been a carrier of knowledge, trade, communication and technology between different worlds, even very distant ones.
It is the metaphor of communication and connection between different populations, ideas and civilisations.

ECN provides communities with an international team of students and volunteer professionals experienced in scientific disciplines and marine technology.

The team is involved in research projects in underwater and underground areas, underwater tunnels and coastal regions.
